Play! parent-child classes promote physical and mental development while your little one goes from tummy time to first triumphant steps (and beyond!) Our weekly classes feature a variety of age-appropriate activities that focus on exercising fine and gross motor skills, increasing flexibility, and providing the vestibular stimulation needed for balance and walking.
The best part? You’ll be there to bond with your infant or toddler as they reach developmental milestones and make fun discoveries about the world around them.
Our parent-child classes are more than just kicks and giggles. These fun-filled classes are designed to support every aspect of your baby’s development in a safe, supportive and stimulating environment full of color, sound and movement.
Even Squeakers have a lot to say and Play! loves to listen. In this class, children ages 4 to 10 months learn how to crawl through tunnels, ride on cool toys, do thumb pull-ups, manipulate objects and follow along with songs. In the development of these skills, understanding of speech improves and a sense of trust starts to develop. Squeakers also start gaining a better awareness of things around them and begin understanding cause/effect.
They may wobble as they walk but Wobblers have an unparalleled determination that makes everything a discovery. This Play! class for children ages 11 to 18 months encourages curiosity as your child learns how to push toys, kick a ball, walk on the balance beam, start basic tumbling techniques, sing songs and interact with others in a socially distant setting. In the development of these skills, children get to explore the gym all while sharpening their vocabulary skills and gaining more muscle control.
This combo class challenges all kids in the 1 1/2 - 3 year old age range, but does not impose all the structure of the Super Wigglers class. The skill level is brought up higher than the Wigglers class as kids learn to strengthen their bodies by swinging on rings and trapezes. They'll also navigate through tunnels, over walls and obstacle courses.
